Wooden Kuripe Fibonacci
Leonardo Fibonacci was a mathematician from Italy during the late 12th and early 13th centuries, credited for writing the Book of Abacus, originally called Liber abaci, the first book that collected and explained a compilation of Indian and Arabian mathematical principles and was the first introduction Europeans had to the Hindu-Arabic numerals.
The Fibonacci Sequence is also associated with his figure and his contributions to modern number theory. The numeric sequence follows: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55 – each number equals the sum of the two numbers that come just before it. This sequence was used, then, to create something called The Golden Ratio, which is a circular design that follows visually appealing proportions and is a common pattern in architecture, graphic design, and art.
